Coincidence? Not Likely.
So last night I was doing a random search on Mesh Magazine and came across something very interesting. Apparently there is another magazine in San Fran named Mesh Magazine that covers very similar topics as us. Now, it wasn't the name so much that I found interesting, but the name and the logo of the magazine. Having the same name is one thing, and correct me if I am wrong, but I see a remarkable resemblance between our logo and theirs. Is this simply a strange coincidence? I could be wrong, but I am willing to bet that there was a small (not so small) influence taken from us. The first issue of Mesh Magazine (in SLC) was printed in the winter of 2002, this Mesh is only in their second year. Not to be petty, and it's not that I even care that much, but if in fact they did rip-off our name and look, they should not be representing a community that thrives on originality. My rant for the day.
